Mercury is a barren, uninhabited world in the Sol System. One of the least hospitable places in the system and one of countless airless, rocky bodies in the Galaxy, it remains mostly unremarkable. Once believed by Earth inhabitants to be tidally locked to Sol, it is not in fact the case.

The only point of note, besides the untapped (and very hard to tap) natural resources is an energy signature emanating from a crater on its surface. Believed to be the remains of a Titan facility, left undisturbed and uneroded by natural processes, still pulsing with automated systems.

Unbeknownst to most Sol System inhabitants, Scro once attempted to mine Mercury. Remains of their domes, magically keeping air and moisture inside various craters, still dot the airless planet's surface. In few of them small populations of Scro-introduced fauna still live, including one crater near the northern pole hosting a small population transplanted from Earth through unknown means, forgotten by the inhabitants themselves.
